We at Gretel are looking to hire a Sales Director to join our team and help build our Sales organization. This person is responsible for building out our enterprise customer base within various regions in the US. The ideal person will be a proactive and curious member of our Sales team, identifying new business with prospects and growth opportunities for clients. A certain level of foresight and knowledge working with intrinsic sales cycles will take this individual confidently into the future of Gretel.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales cycle from lead to ongoing utilization for enterprise prospects
  • Organize PoV implementations of Gretel SaaS or on-prem solution
  • Help develop the sales qualifying and prospecting plan, and/or work with marketing on the ICP and qualification criteria
  • Lead and contribute to team projects that develop our sales process
  • Work with product and marketing teams  to build and maintain the Gretel toolkit product roadmap
  • Become an expert in privacy enhancing technologies, AI tooling, and data operations
  • Be a contributor to the Gretel leadership team and helping define and mature our product-led go-to-market strategy

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years closing experience in technology sales, with a proven track record of exceeding annual targets
  • Experience with product-led sales motions with freemium to enterprise tiers of pricing
  • Ability to navigate early markets within an early-stage startup
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and develop them into a consultative sale
  • Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels of an analytics organization (individual developer up to C-level)
  • The diligence and organizational skills to work long, intricate sales cycles involving multiple client teams
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment
  • A passion for being an inclusive teammate and involved member of the community

Nice to haves:

  • Prior experience in Privacy, ML/AI, Developer tools, and/or open-sourced software
  • Knowledge of or prior experience with data classification, transformation, or synthetics data.
