Gretel is looking for a Marketing Designer to join our design and product team. We are building tools that enable data scientists and engineers to create an anonymized or synthetic dataset to safely work with data while preserving privacy. We are a small team looking to bring our brand to the next level with quality design and expertise that comes along with years of design experience. What we’re looking for

  • A strong portfolio that displays skill in visual communication and graphic design.
  • Someone who can take campaign ideas and expand them into creative materials and assets.
  • An understanding of web implementation technologies. No coding is required, but an ability to converse with developers about implementation details is essential.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

  • Work with our design lead and our Head of Marketing to produce content for various applications, including emails, social media campaigns, website landing pages, rich media graphics, digital advertisements, and more. 
  • Act as a brand ambassador and help contribute to Gretel’s brand design language. 
  • Contribute to our design system.
  • Participate in daily standups and demo work for the entire company.
  • Be an advocate for the Gretel brand and help tell our story visually.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working on a design team and making meaningful contributions to the brand.
  • Experience working with a distributed early-stage startup team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to hit tight deadlines, deliver work on time, and work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable taking the initiative and ownership, but also team-oriented and collaborative in working style.
  • High integrity and a high degree of professionalism.
